BORGO ROMA

Borgo Roma is one of the most charming, quiet and characteristic historic zones in Verona. In 2000 it was declared a Unesco World Heritage Centre due to its urban layout and architecture.

The historic centre lies just two kilometres away from the heart of Borgo Roma. The train station of Porta Nuova is a few hundred metres away and the Trade Fair of Verona a few hundred metres closer. The Policlinico Borgo Roma Hospital and the University are found in the same district.

Well-connected to the urban fabric of the city by the transport system and close to the tollbooth of Verona Sud, Borgo Roma offers many and diverse amenities: shops of every kind, shopping centres, restaurants and trattorie serving local cuisine, pharmacies, fitness and wellness centres, libraries, cinema, taxis, banks, post offices.
